If you love cowboy themes and cowboy boots then this is the project for you. This handmade boot will fit nicely in just about any décor. Hang the boot in your living room, family room, hallway, bedroom, bathroom or outside by your patio. You could call this boot shabby chic western.
To Make The Boot
You Will Need:
A plastic mold in the shape of a boot
Different patterns of broken plates
A favorite photograph
Small Paint brush
Trinkets You’d Like To Use
Take the Mod Podge and use the paintbrush to “paint” over the photo you chose. Where the photo goes make sure you put down a thick piece of cardboard to help protect the photograph.
Mix cement per directions. Pour cement into plastic boot mold. Decorate the boot with the beads, broken plates, photo, trinkets, etc. Let dry for 24 hours. Take out of boot mold. Place a hook on the back and hang!
If you like how your project turned out ask friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors and anyone else to please save any broken plates or dishes they no longer want. This is a fantastic way to recycle.
Cowboy boots that may give you inspiration to the type of western boot you’d like to create include these Black Jack Caimen Belly Cowboy boots. A perfect brown boot with added flare and texture.
Ladies maybe you want to add a little sexiness to your cowboy boot. You can by using the shape of a Los Altos Ladies Caimen High Top Boots with Zipper. While working on your creation you may become so fond of these boots you have to order them. Visit Tim’s Boots today!
